Specsavers PR Services

JComms has provided PR services to Specsavers for over 10 years, with a focus on eye and hearing health campaigns, community relations, consumer PR, and sponsorship management.

We work closely with the central communications and marketing teams, as well as regional agencies, to tailor and roll out UK and Ireland-wide campaigns in the local market. In Northern Ireland, we create and implement dedicated campaigns, including brand and sponsorship initiatives, ensuring a strong local presence.

With 24 stores across Northern Ireland, we collaborate with over 50 store directors and partners who manage these locations, to position them as responsible operators in their communities, as well as creating bespoke local store plans.

JComms played a pivotal role in establishing a partnership between Specsavers and Women's Aid, furthering the company’s commitment to supporting critical social causes. Additionally, we’ve been working on a local partnership with Simon Community, focusing on homelessness awareness and advocacy. These collaborations underscore our dedication to aligning Specsavers with meaningful causes that resonate with both local and national communities.

We have also developed impactful case studies to help raise awareness about the importance of regular eye tests, showcasing real-life stories that highlight how early detection can prevent serious health issues. These case studies have been instrumental in educating the public and driving engagement around eye care.
