It’s a new era for CastleCourt as they celebrate 35 years at the heart of Belfast's retail scene. After three decades, they bid farewell to their anchor tenant Debenhams and said hello to JComms.

Various stores have joined CastleCourt in recent years, which JComms has supported them with, helping to diversify its offering and appeal to a broader audience.

We work closely with CastleCourt’s marketing team, management, and landlords to fine-tune every detail and release news as plans for the retail and leisure destination continue to evolve. Over the past few years, this has included organising media relations during the opening of the first phase of the centre’s leisure offering, The Avenue Cinema and since have worked with teams from MINISO, Schuh, Trespass, Vanilla, New Look and Starbucks to announce the opening of their new stores within the mall.

As part of the complex’s 35th birthday celebrations, we helped CastleCourt to connect with both loyal customers and the broader community by sharing a special archive of photos from 35 years ago, marking the store’s opening and its evolution over time.

JComms is available to provide timely and effective communication support should any situation arise affecting CastleCourt or Belfast city centre. We provide support to CastleCourt’s Centre Manager and Chair of Belfast One BID, Leona Barr, who plays a key role in shaping the future of both CastleCourt and the city centre. As part of our ongoing collaboration, we’ve arranged media training for Leona, empowering her to act as a spokesperson for both CastleCourt and Belfast One BID.
