Jane was awarded an MBE for services to the PR industry, NI economy and wider society in December 2021.
She has advised senior leaders across the business community in NI and has a vast range of experience in all aspects of PR, including public affairs. She was presented with an award for Outstanding Contribution to the PR Industry by the Chartered Institute of PR in 2010.
Jane has also organised some of Northern Ireland's most prestigious events, including the PANI Awards, the Belfast Telegraph Business Awards and the Spirit of NI Awards.
Jane is a Fellow of the CIPR, and was the first female PR consultant in Northern Ireland to receive this honour. She is a former Chairman of CIPR (NI) and is currently a Deputy Lieutenant for Belfast.
Jane sat on the cross-border body Safefood Advisory Board for 8 years until December 2015. She was a director of the NI Memorial Fund for 12 years and helped establish the Ulster University Business School's Centre for SME Development as a member of its advisory board.
An honours graduate from Queen’s University Belfast, Jane also has a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. Attracted by a career change, she undertook the Certificate in Advertising, Marketing, PR and the Law also at QUB.
