Chris has been managing director of JComms since 2018. He first joined the company as a work experience student in 2001 and worked his way up to become a director in 2011.
Chris advises a range of leading organisations including Ulster Bank, Around Noon, RICS, Caterpillar and Telefónica Tech.
In his more than 20 years of experience working in the public relations industry, Chris has advised on multiple major crises, business transactions and news stories for many of Northern Ireland's largest and most successful organisations.
During his time as managing director of JComms, the company has won numerous awards, including NI Outstanding Consultancy at the CIPR PRide Awards and UK Outstanding Small Consultancy at the CIPR Excellence Awards. The company has also grown revenue and headcount and invested substantially in the business.
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of PR, Chris achieved an MSc with distinction in Communication, PR and Advertising, including a distinction in his Masters dissertation on digital marketing.
He also completed an executive education programme at Harvard’s Kennedy School as part of the Leaders for Tomorrow initiative.
His numerous campaign awards include Corporate & Business Communications Campaign of the Year and Best Use of Content at the CIPR PRide Awards and a UK CIPR Excellence Award for Not for Profit Campaign of the Year.
Chris is a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD). Chris was CIPR Northern Ireland Chairman.
