JComms is hiring!

We are seeking two dynamic people to join our team - a Consultant and a Junior Consultant.


The successful candidates will be working with clients like Specsavers, SPAR, leading tech companies, and NatWest bank. Both roles will involve client management, working with the media, contributing to digital and social media activity, and coming up with great ideas!

CONSULTANT


We are seeking a PR consultant with at least three years’ relevant experience.  The successful candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, creative and be able to work under pressure to deliver results against targets.  They will also be a great writer across a range of platforms, very digitally savvy, and great with people (including clients).


Essential criteria

- Degree (or equivalent qualification) in a PR or marketing discipline OR any degree (or equivalent qualification) plus a postgraduate qualification in a PR or marketing discipline

- At least three years’ experience in a communications environment (preferably agency)

- Experience of creating PR strategies

- Experience creating and activating PR programmes across channels, including social media

- Proven organisational skills

- Client management experience

- Experience of writing across a range of platforms 

- Ability to work well within a dynamic and hard-working team

- A full, clean driving license and access to your own car


Desirable criteria (not essential):

- CIPR Chartership

- Evidence of personal development

JUNIOR CONSULTANT


We are seeking an ambitious, creative, degree (or equivalent) educated professional with at least one year’s experience in a PR or marketing environment (potentially a placement year) to join our award-winning team.  The successful candidate will work with blue-chip clients in a range of sectors.  The successful candidate will have excellent written and digital skills, and will work well as part of our close-knit team.


Essential criteria:

- Degree (or equivalent qualification) in a PR or marketing discipline OR any degree (or equivalent qualification) plus a postgraduate qualification in a PR or marketing discipline

- At least one year’s experience in a PR or marketing environment 

- Experience of writing press releases, blog posts and web copy

- Ability to work well as part of a dynamic and hard-working team

- A full, clean driving license and access to your own car


Desirable criteria (not essential):

- Experience working in a PR agency

- CIPR membership (including Affiliate and Associate)

- Experience creating content for social media
