Professionalism is extremely important to JComms. We work with some of the world’s best-known brands, many of Northern Ireland’s largest companies, and some of the fastest growing, most dynamic businesses around. And we know that our clients expect us to be highly professional in what we do.
That’s part of the reason we are so committed to continuous professional development (CPD). We were the first in Northern Ireland to undertake CPD across our team with the Chartered Institute of PR (CIPR) and we were the first to have multiple Chartered PR Practitioners.
We have just successfully completed the latest cycle of CPD with CIPR. And some of our colleagues have also completed their latest round of CPD with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). This means that all of our PR and digital content team members are undertaking CPD with their respective industry bodies.
Together, our team now has over 75 years of CPD completed between them. Chris Harrison was one of the first practitioners in Northern Ireland to undertake CIPR CPD, and now has 16 successful cycles completed.
CPD is about progression and constantly updating your skills, and is the route to becoming a Chartered Practitioner.
Five of our team are now Chartered PR practitioners and another, Sean McKeown, is a Chartered Marketer. Consultant, Alana Hughes, also recently became a full member of CIPR.
